Clean Up Australia Day

Did you know: from the initial idea to clean up Sydney Harbour in 1989, Clean Up Australia Day has now become the nation’s largest community based environmental event held on the first Sunday each March. More details, including how you can get involved, can be found at:

St Patricks Day

St Patricks Day is a global celebration of Irish culture held on or around the 17 March. Saint Patrick is one of the patron saints of Ireland and is said to have died on March 17 in or around the year 493. Celebrations are held all over Brisbane and usually involve dressing in green clothing, indulging in Irish food and watching the St Patrick Day Parade. More information on events can be found….

Worlds Greatest Shave

The Worlds Greatest Shave was started in 1998 and will, this year, celebrate its 21st year of fundraising in aid of people living with blood cancer. Over 2 million Aussies have taken part over the last two decades with an estimated 375,000 kilograms of hair removed!!!!
